Christians being called out as being bad because they don’t conform to the new normal

The first thing that happened was a social setting was created where you are considered bad if you “Shame” someone for behaviors they are doing. First, it was things like shaming a person who sleeps around with a lot of different people. More recently, I’ve seen a move to stop the shaming of pedophiles. Basically, any person who “Judges” another person is considered “morally” more reprehensible than the person who commits a deviant act. Judging has undergone a reframing as well and now includes simply making a declaration that the behavior is against your belief system. Just adhering to your own convictions and voting your conscious is paramount to being a villain if your convictions follow the doctrine of the Bible. If you as a Christian vote against Abortion because you believe the word of God and want to live your life by it, then they will say you are ANTI-WOMEN’S RIGHTS. If you take a stand against sexual reassignment surgeries for young people under 18, then they call you homophobic. If you refer to a woman as “her” when she believes herself to be a “him” then you are considered disrespectful and aggressive. Basically, the world is establishing a system that vilifies anyone who refuses to embrace its core values…and this core value system is anti-Christ.

But we knew this was coming.

2 Timothy 4:1-8 ¹I charge thee therefore before God, and the Lord Jesus Christ, who shall judge the quick and the dead at his appearing and his kingdom;² Preach the word; be instant in season, out of season; reprove, rebuke, exhort with all long suffering and doctrine.³ For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;⁴ And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.⁵ But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.⁶ For I am now ready to be offered, and the time of my departure is at hand.⁷ I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith:⁸ Henceforth there is laid up for me a crown of righteousness, which the Lord, the righteous judge, shall give me at that day: and not to me only, but unto all them also that love his appearing.

HEAPING TO THEMSELVES TEACHERS, HAVING ITCHING EARS;

What this looks like in action is people who shop for a belief system that allows them to indulge in their sin without guilt or shame. This looks like people who join a religion that permits them to engage in things spoken against in the word. This looks like a religious system that teaches people that they build their own reality… this looks like a religion that cherry picks scripture and distorts the meanings to mean what they want it to mean. This looks like a religion who believes Godly love for others is to give them permission to do things that are against the word of God. This evolves into a system that punishes people who say no to Homosexuality, no to abortion, no to children being sexualized in a school that wants to teach them about homosexual lifestyles, no to normalizing sinful behaviors. Eventually, it leads to a government that seeks to rid itself of Christians completely… which is the result of an anti-Christ society.

But we know this is coming…

John 15:18-23 ¹⁸ If the world hate you, ye know that it hated me before it hated you.¹⁹ If ye were of the world, the world would love his own: but because ye are not of the world, but I have chosen you out of the world, therefore the world hateth you.²⁰ Remember the word that I said unto you, The servant is not greater than his lord. If they have persecuted me, they will also persecute you; if they have kept my saying, they will keep yours also.²¹ But all these things will they do unto you for my name’s sake, because they know not him that sent me.²² If I had not come and spoken unto them, they had not had sin: but now they have no cloak for their sin.²³ He that hateth me hateth my Father also.

These verse sum up exactly how the world view Christian now. It’s vital that we spend time reading the word, getting close to Jesus…. staying filled with the Holy Spirit… seeking to understand and live in the Word.
Once again… knowing the Word… knowing Jesus… is the answer. We need to get over trying to be considered a good person and living our lives to show others how good we are….and instead start living the word…and not caring what anyone but God thinks. God does want us to live a life that is without reproach… but that means his reproach, not the worlds. The Jezebel Spirit… or as the world says, Narcissistic Behavior Disorder…. makes being able to gage our public image impossible. This is because the way a Narcissist attacks its victim is to separate them from support by destroying their character and RUINING their good name so no one stands with the person… so first they isolate the target. Then they lie to their former support group so they are offended with the target so that they either join the attack or support the Narcissist while they attack. The Narcissist seeks to take away your good name, your support group, your peace of mind, and finally your life. You remove their weapons completely when you stop investing yourself in earthly names and instead lay up for yourself treasures in heaven, when your support group is Jesus, The Holy Spirit and God… the narcissist can’t take your support group away with lies and if you are standing on the solid foundation of Jesus and know what the promises of God are, then they can’t take your peace of mind and if they take your life in this world, they can never touch your eternal life. We need to break away from the world’s opinion system.

People are more invested than ever in what other people think of them. With the advent of social media and the forum where everyone can put forth a fake image of themselves to insight envy in others, the breading ground for global narcissism was born. This world has checked out of reality and now lives in the land of “making an impression”. People stage the perfect photo that gives a perfected view of what the person wants others to believe is true. This is a CORE trait of the Jezebel Spirit…or narcissistic personality disorder. They have nothing for real so they invest everything in giving an impression they do…and will protect this false image at all cost. We have a massive number of people who are living this way…. what people think of them is more important than the truth. We as Christians need to walk away from this completely. If we are invested in our image, we will not be strong enough to stand the hour of temptation. I write all this, not because I’m already there, but because I want to be. I want to be able to endure to the end…and that endurance is going to see us stripped down to just Jesus…. our reputations in the world, our worldly goods, our worldly support systems …everything but Jesus, the Holy Spirit and God….will be stripped away. People invested in the world will be stripped away completely. No matter how GODLY they seemed to everyone… if it wasn’t real, they won’t survive.
