Be not deceived; God is not mocked: for whatsoever a man soweth, that shall he also reap- Galatians 6:7
ANYONE… ANY NATION…ANY KINGDOM THAT MOCKS GOD WILL FACE THE CONSEQUENCES.
I hope America is watching this and comes to repentance.
This entry is more of a commentary than a bible study, though I am going to refer to the Word of God in it.
When the Olympics opening ceremony was broadcast with the Last Supper mocked, my heart was stricken with grief. I excused myself and went into my bathroom to pray…I was beside myself. The open embrace of sins the Word of God condemns as evil and an abomination was being celebrated by people in open defiance of God, acting out the Last Supper. It was beyond vile…it was a mockery.
I know the creator of this disgusting event apologized to the viewers who were offended, but I’m sure they never repented of it to the Holy God they openly mocked before the entire world.
The Last Supper they depicted was a painting by Leonardo da Vinci, not an actual recreation of it, and lots of people will give this vile performance at the opening of the Olympics a pass because of this; however… Leonardo da Vinci painted this picture as an iconic image in reverence to the Last Supper… so the mockery wasn’t of the painting; it was of Jesus and his disciples. It was meant to grieve and upset Christians; no one is so clueless that they can’t understand this.
2 years, 3 months later France is falling. With the rejection of God, judgment comes followed by all sorts of insanity including moral insanity. When God is rejected, he withdraws his hand of protection and allows the nation to face the outcomes of their own choices.
